- STEP 1 -

Cook pasta according to package directions reserving approximately 1 cup of pasta cooking water.

- STEP 2 -

Melt unsalted butter in skillet and then add cracked black pepper and cook until pepper is toasted.

- STEP 3 -

Add ½ the reserved pasta water to skillet and bring to a simmer then add pasta and remaining butter.

- STEP 4 -

Reduce heat and add cheese tossing until cheese sauce coats the pasta. Serve warm with additional cracked black pepper and cheese.
