- STEP 1 -

Make the teriyaki sauce: In a small saucepan whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, mirin, honey, rice vinegar, ginger, and garlic powder. Bring everything to a boil then reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes, or until thickened slightly.
