- STEP 1 -

Brining the Chicken: Pat dry the chicken thighs and cut them in half.  Combine buttermilk, hot sauce, spices, and chicken thighs.  Refrigerate for at least two hours.

- STEP 2 -

Dredge the Chicken: Make the hot seasoned flour.  Drain excess buttermilk brine from thighs then dredge both sides in the flour mixture.  Set on a wire rack and allow to rest while oil heats up.

- STEP 3 -

Fry the Chicken: In a large cast iron skillet heat 1.5 inches of oil to 350 degrees F.  Add 4-6 chicken thighs and turn every 2 to 3 minutes.  Fry until thighs are golden brown.

- STEP 4 -

Hot Honey Sauce: Transfer cooked chicken thighs to a wire rack.  Combine ingredients for the hot honey sauce then brush it on both sides of cooked chicken thighs.

- STEP 5 -

Assemble the Hot Honey Chicken Sliders: Place one chicken thigh on the bottom bun of a slider roll then top with additional hot honey, coleslaw, and pickle slices.  Serve immediately.
