Dark Chocolate Sauce

Equipment

  • Small Saucepan (1-2 Quarts)

Ingredients  

  • 1 ½ cups sugar
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 ounces dark chocolate
  • 1 cup cream
  • ¼ cup medium sherry
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions 

  • Heat sugar, butter, dark chocolate, and cream in a small saucepan over medium heat for 7 minutes. Stirring occasionally.
  • Remove from heat and add sherry and vanilla.
  • Serve warm.
