There’s nothing quite like Southern comfort food and being from the South, certain recipes just feel like home. Buttermilk Biscuits and black pepper gravy, Old Fashioned Cornbread, and pimento cheese are staples we never get tired of. When we’re craving something bigger, we’ll put on a pot of Texas Chili, make Shrimp and Grits, or cook Dutch Oven Pulled Pork low and slow.
If we want something spicy or crisp, Nashville Hot Honey Chicken Sliders or Crawfish Corn Beignets hit the spot. And once the holidays roll in, my Nana’s Southern Cornbread Dressing has a permanent place on the table.
