Welcome to Casual Epicure!

We are excited that you found our little corner of the internet. At Casual Epicure, we’re all about using the best ingredients (sourcing locally when possible) with tried-and-true cooking techniques to bring the dining-out experience home. Our recipe inspirations come from our travels, dining-out experiences, and beloved family recipes.

Here are all of our favorite recipes, in one place. Whether you’re looking for a weeknight dinner that beats takeout, something a little special to share, or a way to use what’s already in your fridge, you’ll find plenty worth making.

A Recipe Experience Designed for Real Kitchens

We built Casual Epicure to make cooking easier, not more complicated. The recipes are clear, the steps are straightforward, and everything is written the way we actually cook at home. You’ll notice a few features that make things smoother while you cook:

  • Clear, practical instructions so you can move through a recipe without second-guessing the next step.
  • Pro tips are included in every recipe to share the little details that make a big difference.
  • An easy “Jump to Recipe” button at the top of every post, so you can head straight to the recipe card when you’re ready.

How to Browse and Search Recipes

There are hundreds of recipes here on Casual Epicure, which is great… until you’re hungry and don’t feel like scrolling forever. To make things easier, everything is organized into clear categories so you can get where you’re going without overthinking it.

Not sure where to start? Some recipes earn a permanent spot in rotation. These are the ones readers come back to again and again, the tried-and-true favorites that have held up over time.

If you’re in the mood to browse, the recipe index brings all of our recipes together in one place so you can browse and scroll until something catches your appetite.

Looking for something specific? You can use the search icon to look up recipes by name or ingredient, perfect for those “I know I bought ricotta, now what?” moments. You’ll also find the Recipes tab in the menu on every page, because no one should have to hunt for dinner ideas. If you create an account, you can also save favorite recipes to come back to later and see what’s currently popular on the site when you need a little inspiration.

Want to print a recipe? Scroll down to the recipe card and use the print button to save it the old-fashioned way. Paper on the counter, glass of wine nearby. Always a solid plan.
